The idea to distribute the flails along the rotor in double helix form, suit specifically the hedge cutting job, however it is good also for grass cutting. No doubts that there are big advantages in using this rotor. The distribution of the flails along the rotor in a double helix form allows a better balancing of the rotor itself and at the same time a better blade OVERLAP, that’s where the name comes from. These two technical solutions together, allow a better cut performance, consequently a higher forward speed, and more savings for the hedge cutter.
