New flail head TJ125
Medium flail head for maximum performance
After a review of the experience gained on all markets and in response to the users’ needs, Ferri developed this new flail head.

The goals of the project are:
• Safe
• Flexible application
• Strong/lightweight
• Fast forward speed
• Able to cut in any condition
The spiral rotor with the “OVERLAP” system offers a very high cutting efficiency and optimum balance.
It can be provided (depending on hedgecutter model) with 20 to 26 positions.

OVERLAP” spiral rotor with double row helix flails.
• A very important advantage is that it optimises the distance between the cutting blades and the inner walls of the side frames.
This further extends the cutting width.
Its unique internal design has been developed to offer more frontal (A) aggressiveness against grass and a better debris discharge (B), to the benefit of efficiency.

• Another important advantage is that it can accommodate the rear roller above the blade cutting line (12 cm travel), so the head can be used in any condition.

• As to efficient solutions, let’s mention the new forged steel side skids, which offer more resistance to friction wear on soil or asphalt; they can be replaced, and their unique design maintains the cutting height stable, regardless of the position of the head.
• The construction of the flail head has been designed for top or rear mounting; it has a box-type construction that makes the whole head perfectly resistant; it is available with a direct-drive hydraulic motor or a belt drive.
