| FERRI entered in the Italian history |
 |
On occasion of the celebrations of the 150° anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the company FERRI of Tamara has been awarded from UNIONCAMERE (the Italian trade association) among the 150 companies most long-lived and most representative of Italian business history; the motivation of this prestigious award was for the effective contribution of FERRI to the construction of the Italian economy in the last 150 years of our history.
The award is a tribute to the FERRI family; from 4 generations the tradition, the continuity, the ability to adapt to constantly changing market conditions have been the flywheel of their long successful history. The activity began in the year 1844 from Giovanni Ferri as smith for the local farm activities; it was gradually developed, starting from the equipment for reducing the farmer efforts for arriving to the today production of boom mowers, exported in all 5 continents.
This above has allowed to FERRI, today managed from the brothers Sandro & Gisella, to be among the most important manufacturers of its sector (yearly production is over 1600 machines) without losing its own soul connected with the territory where FERRI was born, where it is grown and developed and where it was able to integrate with the local social reality, contributing to the growth of the territorial development. |
